Robbie Williams 'living in fear of being burgled by notorious LA criminals'

by

Robbie Wiliams fears becoming the target of criminals in Los Angeles who burgle the rich and famous and make off with their possessions.

The 46-year-old Take That legend lives in California with 41-year-old wife Ayda Field and their four children; seven-year-old daughter Theodora, five-year-old son Charlton, two-year-old daughter Colette, and three-month-old son Beau.

While living in luxurious mansions in the LA sunshine might come with many benefits, Rock DJ singer Rob says that it can come with certain problems.

The Sun reports him opening up about his fears of being targeted by “stalkers, muggers and burglars” while at home due to his success in his podcast, (Staying) At Home With The Williamses.

He said: “I feel there have been a lot of attacks on celebrities.

“People can say, ‘Well you are all right in your mansions’. Yes, we are, but this is what is happening.”

Robbie’s concerns come after various stars have been forced to take out restraining orders on crazed stalkers who have successfully made their way onto private grounds.

Police arrested a stalker named Julius Sandrock outside Taylor Swift's Beverly Hills mansion in 2018 after he was found trying to break in while wearing a mask and gloves – with police finding a gun, a knife, rope, medication and other items in his car.

Hollywood star Sandra Bullock was awoken in 2014 by an intruder – with police rushing to her rescue after she called the emergency services from her panic room.

While in the UK, Tottenham player Dele Alli was earlier this month held at knifepoint during a terrifying late night burglary.

Robbie has had to contend with stalkers in the past.

In the late 1990s, the singer was targeted by brothers Sean and Wayne Stimson who claimed Rob had plagiarised their ideas to create his music video for his first ever number one song Millennium in 1998.

Robbie was granted a restraining order after the men launched a hate campaign and made nuisance calls to his record label.

Their actions were described by a court judge as being akin to “guerrilla warfare”.
