Spoilers: Geoff is fuming in Corrie as Alya takes revenge
by Stephen PattersonGeoff Metcalfe (Ian Bartholomew) returned home in Coronation Street during tonight’s episode, but he didn’t receive the warm welcome he’d been hoping for, as he discovered Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) had locked him out of the house — and it’s safe to say he was fuming at such a development.
After Yasmeen (Shelley King) stabbed him following an abusive altercation, Geoff ended up in hospital — where he’s been for the past couple of weeks.
During tonight’s episode, he was discharged, and Tim (Joe Duttine) showed up to take him back to the cobbles.
Meanwhile, Alya visited Yasmeen in prison, and she wasted little time in reminding her gran that she knows what Geoff was doing, and therefore she’ll do whatever it take to prove it.
However, Yasmeen wasn’t keen on discussing the matter, commenting that no matter what happened, she shouldn’t have reacted in the way that she did.
Alya attempted to make her see that she was the victim of abuse, but Yasmeen shouted at her before leaving.
The young woman returned home — just in time for Geoff’s arrival on the street — and as he made his way to the door, he realised that his keys no longer work.
Alya and Ryan (Ryan Prescott) then appeared at the window and revealed that they’d had the locks changed — something which Geoff didn’t take too well.
Tim revealed he was going to call the police — and he did just that — and Geoff had a peek at the live camera feed, as he spied on Alya and Ryan.
Will Geoff succeed in getting back into the house?
Or will the cameras be found before then?
Coronation Street continues Monday 1 June at 7:30pm on ITV.
