Spoilers: Shona in serious danger in Corrie as she disappears

by

Shona Ramsey (Julia Goulding) returned to the cobbles in Coronation Street, but she ultimately found the whole experience rather overwhelming, and therefore — after getting some fresh air — she ran off, leaving Gail and Sarah Platt (Helen Worth and Tina O’Brien) terrified.

David’s (Jack P Shepherd) reckless behaviour in the previous episode left Sarah worried for her brother’s life, and therefore, she decided to pay Shona a visit at the rehab centre.

She did just that, and upon coming face-to-face with her, she revealed that David was in a bad way — and that he needs her help.

Shona was horrified to learn that David had once been raped, but Sarah revealed that it was having her by his side that got him through such a tough time, before begging her to help him once more.

During tonight’s episode, she agreed to return to the cobbles — but only on the condition that David wasn’t present when she did so.

The young man wasn’t pleased, but he accepted this development as a step in the right direction, and therefore he sat in Roy’s (David Neilson) as Shona arrived on the street.

Being back on the cobbles didn’t spark any memories — which Shona seemingly found infuriating — but later, as she went to make a cup of tea, she knew where the teabags were stored.

Everyone was given hope at such a development, but Shona was overwhelmed, and — after going out to the garden for some fresh air — she disappeared, leaving Gail and Sarah concerned about where she’d gone.

Will Shona be okay?

Coronation Street continues Friday 29 May at 7:30pm on ITV.
