Spoilers: Andrea sets revenge in motion in Emmerdale as Jamie chooses Belle

by

Andrea Tate (Anna Nightingale) was left devastated in Emmerdale tonight, as she discovered Jamie (Alexander Lincoln) was planning on leaving her for Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper), and therefore she set in motion her revenge — bit not before she recruited Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi) to help her do so.

After learning that Jamie had been cheating on her with Belle, Andrea was determined to win back his affection, and therefore she put together a plan to take him away on holiday and make him fall in love with her again.

She succeeded in the holiday bit, but it soon became clear that — in spite of her efforts — he’s still smitten with Belle.

Upon their return to the village, Jamie set about talking to Belle and finding out where they stood, and revealed he’d made a start with divorce proceedings.

Meanwhile, Andrea discovered that her hubby’s affair is still on-going, after she located a hotel booking on his computer.

During tonight’s instalment, Jamie revealed that he was intending on spending the night away on a work conference — but Andrea knew he was lying, having seen the hotel booking.

She vowed revenge after a conversation with Leyla, but she later came to believe that Jamie had a change of heart when he revealed he was staying at home so that he could have a special dinner with her.

However, little did she know that he was planning on dumping her, but she soon found out when Belle texted him — something which she saw for herself on her husband’s device.

A devastated Andrea made an excuse, and hightailed it out of there before Jamie could put an end to their marriage, and she revealed what her husband was up to to Leyla.

Sick of being treated in such a fashion, Andrea vowed to tear Jamie and Belle apart — and she recruited Leyla to help her.

But just how far will she go?

Emmerdale continues Friday 29 May at 7pm on ITV.
