ITV Coronation Street viewers 'screaming' over Gail's 'Platt chat'

ITV Coronation Street viewers were obsessed tonight when it was revealed long-time residents the Platt family had a group chat titled Platt Chat.

When Sarah Platt came to find her brother David at café Roy's Rolls, she lamented he had his "Platt Chat" on mute.

David said it was "always on mute" as it was just full of pictures of Gail and the children.

David has been having a tough time since his partner Shona woke from her coma and was unable to recognise him or remember their life together.

But viewers were obsessed by the family's group chat and took to Twitter to share their thoughts.

Duncan commented: "Platts Chat. My god I want in on that".

Kathy: "I love that there's a Platt chat @itvcorrie quite frankly I'd like to see that!!!"

Zara: "Someone add me on the Platt chat pronto!"

Faith : "THE PLATT CHAT #CORRIE I'M SCREAMING".

One viewer said: "The Platt Chat - hilarious!"

Another said: "Wouldn’t you want to be part of The Platt Chat!"

Evie added: "cryin @ the platt chat."

Shaun said: "Sounds like a great what’s app group".

Liv said: "I want to be in Platt’s Chat, i’d love to be spammed with Gail pics".

Many more viewers tweeted saying they wanted to be added to the chat.
