American NFL player Tom Brady is selling his 2018 Cadillac Escalade ESV – giving football fans and car lovers alike a chance to buy a so-called "piece of the Brady legacy" for US$300,000 (AU$451,219).
The massive luxury SUV, which Brady originally purchased for US$350,000, has only 13,000 miles – or 20,921km – on the odometer and is up for sale at Becker Automotive Design, the California-based custom vehicle shop that originally modified the car.
According to an invoice supplied to Business Insider by Becker Automotive Design, the car itself only cost US$91,000, but Brady added around US$250,000 worth of modifications to it.
A special ESV (Escalade Stretch Vehicle) variant, Brady reportedly had the car stretched even further so it measures more than six metres in length, with larger rear doors "for ease of entry and exit".
The NFL player also used the car as a fully-mobile home office, adding reclining, Italian-leather massage seats with leg rests, a flat-screen TV, two large folding desks and a mobile internet router to allow for "connectivity on the road".
The listing states that the steel-enforced roof was raised by a further five inches to improve headroom and was designed to "meet or exceed" US Federal Safety Standards and Crush Resistance Laws.
Brady added a personal description to the listing, telling potential buyers it served as a "sanctuary" in which he carried out his work commitments and spent time with his family while on the road.
“Parting ways with my Becker ESV won’t be easy. From day one it became my sanctuary from the outside noise," he said.
"I took pride in picking out all the customizations of the ESV; from the trim of the seats to the color of the rug.
"With such limited time in my busy schedule the ESV gave me those extra minutes to study my play book, make phone calls and be with my family. Immediately my productivity went up and my stress came down.
"I hope the next owner will take great care of her; she will always be a part of the Brady family.”
Brady, who has played for a Super Bowl-winning team six times in his career, boasts an estimated net worth of US$180 million.
He is married to supermodel Gisele Bundchen and is a father to three children.
It's possible the sporting star is listing the car for sale because he recently relocated from Boston to Florida after making the switch from his longtime team, the New England Patriots, and signing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
