RIYADH — The Ministry of Health began on Friday the process of the 3rd phase of the expanded checkup to assess the rate of Coronavirus (COVID-19) spread.

The two stage expanded checkup will first be implemented in Makkah and Madinah to be followed by the checkup implementation in Riyadh next week. The other areas in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia shall come under the ambit of the advanced checkup later in a phased manner.

The ministry had recently announced the launch the 3rd phase in continuation of precautionary and preventive measures to stop the spread of the virus, in order to maintain safety and hygiene of the citizens and residents alike.

However, the ministry added that the 3rd phase will not cover indoor checkup or house visits, as it will be done through various outlets including, checkup inside cars via dedicated centers set up in many cities.

Checkups will be done in first medical care centers, while booking to provide samples, and taking appointments by citizens and residents can be done via online application: Sehaty, or literally my health. — SPA
