Coronation Street fans are predicting big consequences, after Alya Nazir declared war on Geoff Metcalfe.
The character is refusing to let him get away with months of abuse towards his wife Yasmeen Nazir, her grandmother.
She's been in prison ever since she stabbed her abusive husband Geoff in the neck at the beginning of the month.
Yasmeen fought back in self-defence after months of controlling behaviour and manipulation, with him threatening her life and becoming increasingly aggressive.
Now, Yasmeen won't reveal the truth about the abuse, or why she attacked him.
She's been manipulated to the point she is now struggling with her own actions, and is blaming herself for everything.
Alya does know the truth, or at least most of it, and is vowing to bring down Geoff and save her gran.
The latest episode of the ITV soap saw her go to huge lengths, visiting Yasmeen in prison and begging for her to confess what really happened.
When that didn't work she headed to Yasmeen's house and changed the locks, knowing Geoff was returning home from hospital that day.
As Geoff returned with son Tim, he could not enter the property where the attack happened - and where he still has a camera recording things from inside.
This was how he spied on his wife through his phone, and he obviously feared this would be discovered.
Alya and boyfriend Ryan refused to let him inside, and told him it was her gran's house and not his.
They stayed inside and would not open the door, shouting out how he had abused Yasmeen and that he was the guilty one.
Telling him to confess all, Alya did not stand down even when Tim threatened to kick the door in.
As Geoff went to Tim's house, he was soon seen up to no good again.
On his phone, he watched Alya and Ryan in the house just like he did with Yasmeen.
Viewers applauded the couple for taking him on, but feared he'd want some sort of revenge for their actions.
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7:30pm on ITV.
