BREAKING: Donald Trump cuts links with WHO during extraordinary anti-China rant

Donald Trump has cut the US links with the World Health Organisation - while launching an extraordinary diatribe against China.

He claimed China had "total control" over the WHO, and said money would be diverted to other public health initiatives.

Trump also announced that some foreign nationals would be banned from entering the United States. 

The US President said Chinese actions in Hong Kong was a plain violation of treaty obligations - and said Hong Kong was no longer autonomous.
