BREAKING: NBA Commissioner Adam Silver Announces July Start Date For Return of NBA Season

Finally.

On Friday, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver and the league office informed the Board of Governors that July 31 is a target date for return of the season.

This date gives the league roughly two months to prepare and finalize a Disney proposal and get players back to individual workouts.

The season came to a halt back in march after Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert tested positive for the coronavirus.
