The Ondo state high court has sentenced one Pastor Kolawole Samson to death by hanging for killing a boy at a village near Okeigbo area of the state.

The court sitting in Akure presided over by Justice Ademola Bola found the pastor guilty of inflicting injury on the deceased’s head with a cutlass at a fish pond owned by the convict on March 2016, The Nation reports.

The deceased later died to at a hospital where he was admitted.

Though the pastor pleaded not guilty to the offense, the court ruled that the evidence presented during the trial showed that he was guilty of the killing.

Meanwhile, an evangelist identified as Victor Edet on Facebook has asked that Pastor Enoch Adeboye's last born, Leke Adeboye, be cautioned for dressing like a gangster.

Evangelist Edet shared a picture of Leke on his Facebook page in which the young pastor could be seen wearing a face cap which was facing back.

The evangelist said he was shocked and short of words after seeing the picture, asking why a pastor would be dressed in such a way.

He stated that there was nothing wrong with Leke's dressing. He asked the pastor to enlighten people if there is a scriptural dress code for pastors.

He also a swipe at the evangelist's command of written English in classic Daddy Freeze style.

"There is absolutely nothing wrong with Leke’s dressing. If you have any issue with his doctrines address those, but speaking of his mode of dressing is beyond petty in my opinion," he said.
