Boy, 17, threatened at knifepoint in Largs as thugs rob bike and car

A teenager was held at knife point as two thugs stole his bike as well as his CAR in Largs.
The incident happened around 12.30am on Friday, May 29 on Nelson Street.
A 17-year-old boy was with his dog as he was threatened with a knife and the suspects then stole his bike and his car - a white Suzuki Alto with the registration NA10 FGV.
The victim later found his bike nearby on Moorburn Road.
The first suspect is described as a white male, 6ft tall with a local accent and wearing a dark grey North Face hoody with hood up and light grey trackies.
The second suspect is described as 6ft tall with his face partially covered and wearing a red jacket belonging to the victim.
Detective Sergeant Stephen McCulloch, of Saltcoats CID, said: “The victim was not hurt but was left extremely shaken by this incident. Our enquiries are ongoing to trace the suspects and the victim’s car.
“We are particularly keen to speak to a woman who spoke to the victim after the incident and commented on his dog.
“If anyone has any information relating to the incident, or saw anyone matching the descriptions either before or after the incident, they should contact police.”

Meanwhile, a Glasgow teenager was attacked by a gang armed with "bladed weapons" in the grounds of a school.
Cops are appealing for information after the lad, 14, was brutally assaulted around 6pm yesterday evening.
