by

Filmmaker Apurva Asrani took to his Twitter to open up about his relationship with Siddhant. In his post, he revealed that they have been hiding about it for more than a decade. Apurva and Siddhant used to tell everyone that they are cousins. He emphasized that time has come to normalize LGBTQ families.

The tweet read, "For 13 years we pretended to be cousins so we could rent a home together. We were told 'keep curtains drawn so neighbors don't know 'what' you are'. We recently bought our own home. Now we voluntarily tell neighbors we are partners Two hearts. It's time LGBTQ families are normalised too."
