Fire crews tackle major garage blaze at Ayr house
This afternoon's blaze could be seen for miles around as fire crews fought to bring the flames under control.

Flames tore through a garage in the town's Westwood Avenue, with thick black smoke seen for miles around.
The inferno quickly engulfed the surrounding garden area and began spreading to the nearby property.
Three fire appliances tackled the blaze, which broke out shortly before 5pm, with a large police presence also on scene.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were alerted 4.44pm to reports of a fire involving an external garage building at a property on Westwood Avenue, Ayr.
"Three appliances were mobilised to the scene, where crews extinguished the fire.
"There are no reported casualties.
"Crews remain on scene."
