A teenager has been arrested following reports that a 15-year-old boy was kidnapped and threatened with a gun.

The incident happened last year on December 29, when it was reported that a boy was held against his will in a car in Orion Drive, Bilborough.

Police seized a vehicle on the day, which officers believe was involved in the incident, and recovered a gun and an imitation firearm.

Today (May 29), police arrested a 17-year-old boy on suspicion of kidnap and possession of a firearm with intent to commit an indictable offence.

He remains in police custody.
