Karnataka government to decide on film activities
by Bangalore MirrorThe Karnataka state government will be taking a decision on resuming film production activities after the Centre issues new guidelines.
On Friday, a delegation of the film fraternity met Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa and requested him to allow resuming of film activities that had come to a standstill since March 22.
The CM assured the delegation led by Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy president Sunil Puranik that he would take a decision after consulting the Central government.
The Centre is likely to issue fresh guidelines as the existing lockdown 4.0 ends on May 31. Earlier this week, the government eased restrictions for shooting tele-serials.
