monkey time and Suicoke are continuing a long-standing collaborative partnership with a SS20 sandal capsule. Consisting of upgraded takes on the MOTO-V and KISEE-V, the bespoke collection bolsters two of Suicoke’s most famous silhouettes with alternate assemblages, new materials and potent prints.
First up is the MOTO-VMT 2 “Paisley.” Centered around a black or blue paisley print on its fabric midfoot strap, it also equips a toothed, ripple Vibram sole for extra durability and unique style. Next, the BOSEE-VMT trades out its standard straps for traditional buckles and boasts a neoprene build contrasted to the midsole. It’s set to be available in silver or black, and if you look at the inner half of the upper’s straps, you’ll notice rich contrasting colors: neon green on the silver pair, rich dark blue on the black pair. Both the MOTO-VMT 2 and BOSEE-VMT are completed by EVA foam midsoles and soft, pebbled Vibram footbeds.
Look for the monkey time x Suicoke MOTO-VMT 2 and BOSEE-VMT to release at specialty stockists like United Arrows on June 5. The MOTO-VMT 2 “Paisley” is priced at ¥19,000 JPY (approximately $176 USD) while the BOSEE-VMT arrives at ¥17,000 JPY (approximately $158 USD)
