Destiny 2 Xur location and items, May 29-June 2

Head to the Tower for some Exotics

by

The weekly Exotic item merchant, Xur, hangs out in random locations around the world of Destiny. In Destiny 2, he can appear all over the map, as well as inside the Tower. This week, you can find Xur in The Tower, on the back stairs in the Hangar.

Xur’s inventory this week consists of the following:

Xur’s inventory caps out at 981 if you’re at 1000.

The Prospector

The Prospector is a powerful grenade launcher in PvE. Its perk, Excavation, allows you to simultaneously detonate all grenades that you have recently fired, and the launcher is fully automatic. The grenades also stick to surfaces and deal burn damage. While The Prospector used to be one of the top PvE grenade launchers, there are currently better options out there. It’ll likely come back around, though, so if you don’t have it yet, pick it up.

The Bombardiers

The Bombardiers are Year 3 Hunter legs with a silly and mostly useless perk. Parting Gift leaves a bomb on the ground when the Hunter dodges, which then explodes, dealing damage to all nearby enemies. This is a bizarre Exotic that is rarely ever going to be worth your Exotic slot. But it’s fun, it looks cool, and it will definitely surprise your foe. Pick it up if you’re looking to round out your collection.

Xur’s roll this week is Arc, and comes with 46 total stats.

Doom Fang Pauldron

Doom Fang Pauldron is pretty cool if you’re into the Sentinel Titan. Its exotic perk, Horns of Doom, causes shield bash kills to quickly recharge your shield throw while you’re using your Super. Additionally, melee ability kills give you extra super energy, and shield throw kills extend the duration of your super. If you like the top tree of Sentinel, this is a fun exotic that you can use in all kinds of activities. If you’re a regular Sentinel user, this is a must-have.

Xur’s roll this week is Void, and comes with 48 total stats.

Crown of Tempests

Crown of Tempests is a pretty great Warlock Exotic, especially if you like Stormcaller. This helmet’s main perk, Conduction Tines, causes Arc ability kills to recharge your Arc abilities and increase the duration of your Super; this ability now stacks as well. The only bad news about this helmet is that it needs to be used with Stormcaller, which is a great PvP Super now and decent for enemy clear in strikes and raids. If you don’t have this helmet for your Warlock, you should definitely consider picking it up.

Xur’s roll this week is Arc, and comes with 50 total stats.
