Philipe Lins gets quick turnaround, meets Tanner Boser at June 27 UFC event

Philipe Lins is wasting no time in the UFC.

Less than two weeks after a decision loss to Andrei Arlovski in his octagon debut on May 13, Lins is now scheduled to take on Tanner Boser at UFC’s upcoming event on June 27, multiple sources told MMA Fighting. Combate first reported the matchup.

The UFC has yet to officially announce the event and its location.

Boser (17-6-1) was booked to face Jeff Hughes on March 28, but the whole card got cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic. “The Bulldozer” is 1-1 under the UFC banner with a decision victory against Daniel Spitz followed by a loss to Ciryl Gane.

Lins (14-4) won the first season of the Professional Fighters League heavyweight tournament in 2018, but took more than a year off to heal several injuries before returning to face Arlovski earlier this month. The loss snapped a four-fight finishing streak.
