Gogglebox stars share 'embarrassing' throwback snaps

Gogglebox stars Pete and Sophie Sandiford have been keeping the entire nation entertained during lockdown – and to be honest, we love to see it.

The sibling pair from Blackpool have won over viewers thanks to their close relationship, amazing mugs and hilarious one-liners.

And we are not sure who is funnier.

And it seems that 26-year-old Pete and 24-year-old Sophie also have a close relationship off-camera as well as onscreen.

The duo, are also renowned for winding each other up, and after an inside look into their Instagram accounts, it shows just that.

Sophie often shares embarrassing, yet funny pictures and videos of poor Pete, who in one photo, is dressed as a Spice Girl.

We always thought you’d make a good Ginger Spice Pete.

In the photo, Sophie is dressed as Scary Spice and they have even roped their mum in as she is dressed as Sporty Spice.

Sophie also has a habit of posting throwback pics of the pair as kids – not sure how happy Pete is about it though.

Another adorable picture shows them as kids and Pete is dressed as Peter Pan and Sophie as Tinkerbell.

We feel like there’s a theme going on here.

While one is another throwback from Halloween (as kids) and donning their best scary faces, Pete is Dracula and Sophie, a witch.

Sophie and Pete still work regular day jobs, with Sophie working as a shop window dresser and Pete has a job in the insurance industry.

As part of the Googlebox cast, the siblings have to commit to 12 hours of filming each week split across two six-hour shifts.

Gogglebox returns tonight on Channel 4 at 9pm.
