by

A Derby Burger King has reopened its doors for drive-thru customers and is accepting online orders as well.

The Burger King restaurant in Pride Park will be open from midday to 10pm every day for drive-thru orders.

The branch is also accepting orders online via Just Eat or Deliveroo, which are delivered to the door.

There is a limited menu on offer at the moment which includes the Whopper, Bacon XL and Chicken Royale meals.

As well as that, a number of dishes are available as sides, such as the chilli bites and chicken nuggets, but not as full meals.

Socially distanced markings on the floor for when customers return to the restaurant

The opening comes as Burger King announced it would be opening 40 stores across the UK.

Outside the Pride Park branch, markings could be seen on the floor for when customers are able to return to the restaurant.

When customers are permitted to go in the restaurant, the company has said social distancing measures will be in place.
