The awards aim to recognise and reward students, colleges, educators and individuals who are leading the way in enterprise for Scotland.
Michael Allan, who studies HNC Events, said: “It is amazing to be shortlisted for the award. I feel that I am being recognised for the hard work I have put in to complete my course and start my own events business.
“It’s an honour to be nominated for the award and I’d like to thank my lecturer Stephen Frew for nominating me. He’s a great lecturer and was always there for me to bounce my ideas off of while developing my business.”
Colin Miller, head of service at West Lothian College, said: “Elaine has been a stalwart at West Lothian College for many years and I’m delighted that she has been shortlisted for the award. She always goes that extra mile to help students to become successful in their careers and business startups.”
This year, due to Covid-19 an event will be held virtually on Tuesday, June 2, at 7pm, where the winners will be announced.
