Ighalo's trainer reveals number of years striker wants to agree in new deal with Man United

It was gathered that north Londoners are said to still owe the French a huge sum from the Nicolas Pepe deal last summer.

The Frenchman became Arsenal's record signing in a deal around £72m, and the fee has been structured into instalments over a period of years.

Since they failed to beat the Premier League side to Pepe's signature, Napoli are doing their best to lure the Nigerian star to Italy in the coming months.

French club Lille are in desperate move to sell the striker in a bid to overturn their financial woes due to the coronavirus crisis amid reports that the Italian club are interested.

Osimhen’s sparkling form before the season was halted due to the pandemic has attracted interest of clubs in England, where Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and Chelsea are keen.

He netted 18 goals across all competitions for Lille last season having joined them from Sporting Charleroi in a deal around €12 million last August.
