Watch 'annoyed' This Morning Ruth Langsford on claims she's broken lockdown rules
The This Morning presenter's husband Eamonn defended her over skeptical viewer comments
by Sanjeeta Bains, https://www.facebook.com/sanjeetabainsbm/As hair salons have been closed for weeks, we have noticed some of our favourite TV presenters are not looking as super groomed as usual.
But This Morning presenter Ruth Langsford has impressed viewers with her carefully coiffed barnet - so much so that they have accused her of flouting the guidlines on social distancing.
On Wednesday's episode (May 27), Eamonn revealed that some fans have gotten in touch enquiring if Ruth had broken lockdown rules to see a hairdressor.
Eamonn said:"People get in touch to say, 'Ruth's broken lockdown, Ruth's got her own personal hairdresser',"
Ruth added: "It's really annoying me actually, because I really haven't."
In a bid to calm down his clearly irritated wife Eamonn soothed: "They say you look so beautiful for your age, they say you look so wonderful."
Eamonn also joked he was responsible for Ruth's hairdo.
He said: "I don't like to boast, I don't like to talk, I don't blow my own horn but it's hours of prep that goes into Ruth."
The pair then showed This Morning viewers, Ruth in rollers getting her hair done by her devoted hubby.
Ruth then said firmly that she hoped viewers " will stop saying, 'Ooh Ruth's obviously gone to a hairdresser', because I really haven't...If I had, I'd be asking for my money back with those roots!"

Being accused of breaking lockdown has obviously angered the presenter as she has previously spoken on This Morning on how she's felt about the lack of social distancing from others.
On Bank Holiday Monday's episode of the show she remarked: "I was in the supermarket the other day with my gloves on, my mask on picking potatoes and suddenly this big hairy arm came across, literally a man leaning over me to get...and I just went 'excuse me!' and he looked at me as if he didn't know what I was talking about!"
On Thursday ( May 28), Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced that "non-essential" shops will be allowed reopen from June 15, if the the five tests set by goverment officials for controlling the spread of the virus are still being met.
However his chief scientific advisor Sir Patrick Vallance advised a two metre distance must be maintained.
