Throwback to when Kareena Kapoor Khan responded to working with Shahid Kapoor

Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan were in a relationship long ago but now both are happily married to different people. They started seeing each other on the sets of Fida (2004) and ended their relationship during the shooting of Imtiaz Ali's Jab We Met (2007). Shahid and Kareena have worked together in movies like 36 China Town, Chupke Chupke, Milenge Milenge and Udta Punjab and their on-screen pair was quite a hit among the audience.

At the trailer launch of Udta Punjab back in 2016 when a journalist questioned Shahid and Kareena if they are disappointed about not having any scenes together, Shahid had said, “You are asking if we are happy or not on something that has already been done before.” When Kareena was asked to respond to the same, Kareena had jokingly said, “DVD of Jab We Met is always available.”

And when the journalist probed further by asking if they will be seen in the sequel of Jab We Met or something similar, Kareena had instantly replied saying, “That Imtiaz Ali (director of Jab We Met) will say na,” while Shahid added, “If it was to happen then it would have happened earlier. I think Imtiaz Ali has moved on.”
