Sonic the Hedgehog movie is getting a sequel
by Stephany NunneleyFans of the Sonic the Hedgehog film will be pleased to know it is getting a sequel.
A sequel to the Sonic the Hedgehog movie is now in the development stage, Paramount Pictures and Sega Sammy have announced.
News of the sequel was confirmed yesterday by Variety.
The sequel will bring back director Jeff Fowler and scriptwriters Pat Casey and Josh Miller. Casting has yet to be confirmed.
Sonic the Hedgehog was released in theaters earlier this year and went on to become one of the most successful video game movies of all time.
For those of you who haven’t had a chance to see the film, it is available digitally and on DVD and Blu-Ray. The film was released outside of theaters early due to theaters closing over the COVID-19 outbreak.
