Neymar Refuses Pay Cut To Force Barca Move?

The French giants were declared Ligue 1 champions after France's top flight was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
As a consequence, PSG and the other teams in the league missed out on massive amounts of TV and matchday revenue, which has led to the club initiating talks over salary cuts with the squad.
However, Neymar, who is the team's highest-paid player, is one of five players said to be unprepared to take a salary cut.

Le Figaro, as cited by Sport, has reported that Thiago Silva, Edinson Cavani, Juan Bernat and Ander Herrera are the other stars not prepared to agree to the 70% wage deduction.
It is claimed that Neymar's refusal could be part of his plan to force a move to Barcelona after PSG denied him a return to his former side during the previous transfer window.
Neymar and Les Parisiens could still be in action this season, though, after reaching the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League, which are expected to be played some time in August once the domestic campaigns in Europe's top five leagues are completed.

The Brazilian superstar has scored 18 goals and assisted another 10 strikes in 22 appearances for PSG so far in the 2019/20 campaign.
