Two more coronavirus deaths in Shropshire
by Dominic RobertsonTwo more patients have died with coronavirus in Shropshire's hospitals, taking the county's death toll to 274.
Today's announcement confirms one more person has died at Shrewsbury & Telford Hospital NHS Trust (SaTH), and another at Shropshire Community Health Trust.
It means that the total to have died in the care of the county's major health trusts has now reached 162 since the outbreak began.
A total of144 have died at SaTH, 13 at the community health trust and five at the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital near Oswestry.
Figures from the Office for National Statistics show that 112 people have also died at the county's care homes after contracting Covid-19.
Public Health Wales says 13 people have now died with the virus in Powys, although the ONS says the figure is 84.
The difference is down to cases where the presence of Covid-19 has been confirmed by a laboratory test.

Meanwhile the Government's UK death toll, which includes deaths in and out of hospitals, increased by 324 to 38,161 today although analysis of NHS and ONS figures puts the true figure at more than 45,000.
The number of patients to have died in English hospitals increased by 149 to 26,383.
In Wales the death toll increased by 10 to 1,317.
