Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford start - Manchester United predicted line up vs Tottenham

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could have the luxury of a fully fit Man Utd squad to pick from when the Premier League restarts in June.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could find himself with a number of key selection dilemmas when selecting his Manchester United team for their first game of the resumed Premier League.

The league is set to resume on June 17th, with United's first match after a three-month lay-off amid the coronavirus pandemic, to take place on June 20th or 21st.

If the fixtures are played in the order they were originally planned for, that will mean Solskjaer locking horns with United predecessor Jose Mourinho at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, behind closed doors. The Premier League are set to officially confirm the fixture list, with all remaining 92 games to be shown on television.

Solskjaer should have the fit-again Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba at his disposal, with the pair recovering from back and ankle injuries respectively. Pogba, however, hasn't started a competitive game since September 30th so may be eased back into action by his manager.

David de Gea, Harry Maguire, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Bruno Fernandes and Anthony Martial are all certain to start if fit, with Solskjaer likely to stick with the 4-2-3-1 formation that was bringing United some success before the season was postponed.

United are still on an 11-game unbroken unbeaten run, which they'll look to extend in their search for a top-four finish this season.

Solskjaer may have minor dilemmas at left-back - where Luke Shaw and Brandon Williams will reprise their battle for a spot - and over who to pick alongside Maguire at the back. Victor Lindelof and Shaw look the most likely to get the nod from Solskjaer.

In midfield, the Norwegian may well pick Scott McTominay and Fred to sit behind Fernandes, with Pogba an option off the bench. Rashford should play on the left, with Martial through the middle and Daniel James the leading contender to play on the right wing as things stand.

It remains to be seen whether Odion Ighalo will still be at the club, with his loan from Shanghai Shenhua set to expire this weekend. United remain in talks with the Chinese club.

Predicted United XI: De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire (capt), Shaw; Fred, McTominay; James, Fernandes, Rashford; Martial.

Bench: Romero, Williams, Bailly, Matic, Pogba, Mata, Greenwood.
