Renowned Astrologer Bejan Daruwalla passes away

Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani took to Twitter to offer his condolences. He wrote, "Saddened by the demise of renowned Astrologer Shri Bejan Daruwalla. I pray for the departed soul. My condolences. Om Shanti..."
According to IANS report, Daruwalla was admitted to the hospital about a week ago following complaints of breathlessness and pneumonia like symptoms. He was kept on ventilator since the last two days. He died at 5:13 p.m. on Friday.
As soon as the news surfaced on social media, condolences started to pour in.
Former Gujarat Congress chief Arjun Modhwadia termed Daruwalla's demise an "unfathomable loss to the world of Indian astrology." He mentioned in his tweet that Daruwalla 'died due to COVID-19'.
Bejan Daruwalla, born July 11, 1931, was an ardent follower of Lord Shri Ganesh. The popular Indian astrology columnist, also served as a professor of English in Ahmedabad.
