The State Disaster Commissioner Kannababu on Friday warned that Srikakulam, Vizianagaram and Visakhapatnam districts are more prone to thunderbolts in the coming 24 hours.
The State Disaster Commissioner Kannababu on Friday warned that Srikakulam, Vizianagaram and Visakhapatnam districts are more prone to thunderbolts in the coming 24 hours. Due to surface trough, Seethampeta, Kothuru, Palakonda, Burja, Regidi, Amudalavalasa, Sarubujjili, Lakshminarsupeta, Hiramandalam, Wangara, Veeragattam in Srikakulam while Kurupam, Gargubilli, Balijipeta, Parvatipuram, Bobbili, Saluru, Pachipenta, Vepada, Sitanagaram in Vizianagaram district and Hukumpeta, Anantagiri and Arakuloya in Visakhapatnam district would receive thunderbolts.
Therefore, farmers, farm labourers and herdsmen who work in the fields are advised to be safe and secure in the open and under the trees. On the other hand, the southwest monsoon is expected to hit Kerala on June 1 and followed by Andhra Pradesh on June 10.
Meanwhile, the temperatures are gradually decreasing after four days and two Telugu states likely to receive rains in 24 hours according to IMD Hyderabad.
