COVID-19 recoveries in Ukraine exceed new cases in past day

A total of 679 (+10) COVID-19 deaths have already been recorded in the country.

Ukraine has reported 495 COVID-19 recoveries against 429 new cases over the past 24 hours.

The total number of lab-confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus in Ukraine exceeded 22,811 as of Friday morning, according to the Public Health Center.

Overall incidence per region: 957 cases in Vinnytsia region; 863 in Volyn region; 930 in Dnipropetrovsk region; 158 in Donetsk region; 694 in Zhytomyr region; 1,147 in Zakarpattia region; 431 in Zaporizhia region; 1,360 in Ivano-Frankivsk region; 503 in Kirovohrad region; 2,849 in the city of Kyiv; 1,535 in Kyiv region; 1,563 in Lviv region; 46 in Luhansk region; 284 in Mykolayiv region; 878 in Odesa region; 268 in Poltava region; 1,628 in Rivne region; 167 in Sumy region; 1,145 in Ternopil region; 1,011 in Kharkiv region; 177 in Kherson region; 407 in Khmelnytsky region; 3,259 in Chernivtsi region; 401 in Cherkasy region; 150 in Chernihiv region.

Data from Russia-occupied areas – the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the city of Sevastopol, parts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions – is not available.
