Bahrain reports 300 new COVID-19 cases
Total recoveries from the coronavirus rise to 5,491
by Tawfiq Nasrallah, Staff WriterDubai: Bahrain has confirmed 300 new coronavirus cases, 183 of which were detected among expatriate workers, and 117 were found to have been exposed to active cases, the Kingdom’s Ministry of Health reported on Friday.
In a series of tweets, the ministry said that there have been 72 additional recoveries in the country, increasing total recoveries to 5,491.
“There are currently 30 COVID-19 cases receiving treatment, of which 9 are in a critical condition. 4,836 cases are stable, out of a total of 4,845 active cases,” the ministry tweeted.
No new coronavirus-related deaths have been reported on Friday, keeping the country’s death toll at 15.
Currently, a total of 302,640 people have been tested and the total number of confirmed active cases is 4,846, among which 9 patients are in critical condition.
