Copenhagen Fashion Week Confirms New Dates for SS21 Shows
Copenhagen is one of the only big Fashion Weeks still going ahead in-person.
by Tayler WillsonCopenhagen Fashion Week has announced the decision to go ahead with its Spring/Summer 2021 shows this August. Following a number of other big name fashion weeks announcing they are to host their shows virtually, Copenhagen has vowed to go ahead as planned, albeit five days later than originally scheduled.
Alongside industry organizations Dansk Fashion & Textile and WEAR, the decision was made to move the start date from August 4 to August 9, ending on August 12.
“We’re fortunate that the Danish society is opening up much more quickly than expected, making it possible for us to hold Copenhagen Fashion Week very close to the originally scheduled dates,” said Cecilie Thorsmark, the event’s CEO.
“All of our activities will of course be set up to meet applicable regulatory requirements,” she added.
