A former Premier League footballer has revealed that he would pick Nigeria legend Jay-Jay Okocha over FC Barcelona and Brazil icon Ronaldinho.

Reports: Messi Makes Huge Barca Decision

The ex-Bolton Wanderers midfielder is widely considered one of the best African footballers of all time, while his former Paris Saint-Germain teammate Ronaldinho is also regarded by many as one of the game's true greats.

Asked recently who he would choose between Okocha and Ronaldinho as the better player, former Everton defender Joseph Yobo, who is currently the Super Eagles' assistant manager, did not hesitate in choosing his countryman.

"Jay-Jay, as the captain, he wasn't one of those that really enforces things, he is easy-going and then he leads by example basically, but then on the football pitch he lets his football do the talking," Yobo said in a recent Instagram Live session.

"A lot of things that we saw in training people didn't see in the game because the game is always structural.

"He is one of the best I have ever seen and played with talking about technical abilities, and it was always fun playing around him because, like I said, he loves football.

"He enjoyed the game. If you are around Jay-Jay, you must enjoy football, he was a special player."
