After £3.6m report, Leeds United now know what it will take to sign Adil Aouchiche

The PSG talent is available on a free transfer this summer but will cost a sizeable signing-on fee and wage.

Leeds United were recently linked with a move for Paris Saint-Germain youngster Adil Aouchiche and now they know exactly how much it would cost to sign the French talent, previously likened to Les Bleus legend Zinedine Zidane.

Last month, 90min reported that Leeds were keen on both Aouchiche and his PSG teammate Tanguy Kouassi.

The midfield maestro is out of contract in the French capital this summer and is ready to leave for a better shot of regular first-team football.

It was an exciting development for Leeds fans. Aouchiche made widespread news with his performances at the Under-17 European Championships last summer. The playmaker scored an impressive nine goals in five games in Ireland. The performances saw some giving him the moniker the ‘next Zidane’ because of his playmaking ability and Algerian heritage.

Arsenal are now said to be keen on his services, according to ESPN, and the details of any potential move were also laid out.

The report claims that to sign the talented free agent clubs need to pay a €4 million (£3.6m) signing on fee and hand him a €25,000-a-week (£22,500-a-week) contract.

Both fees seem high for a player of just 17-years-old but considering how highly-rated he is could eventually turn out to be a bargain.

Leeds United are now aware of just what it will take to sign the teen sensation this summer and it will be interesting to see if promotion to the Premier League leads to a swoop from the West Yorkshire club.
