How to Sell Off Your Old Stuff on Jiji (Previously OLX)
by Daniel Anuoluwapelumi MosesJiji is an online marketplace for users to buy and sell stuff. Many sellers use the platform to sell used products, as there’s a huge market for that. Selling on Jiji opens you up to a lot of potential buyers. The platform hit eight million unique monthly users in 2018. It also sees an addressable market of 400 million people across its operating countries.
A platform like Jiji also makes it quite easy to sell your old stuff online. And get buyers too. This is because of the low barrier to entry (to sell on the platform). Unlike proper e-commerce platforms that are open to mostly (or in some cases, only) registered merchants.
In 2019, Jiji acquired their top competitor, OLX marketplace on the African market.
This post guides you through the process of selling your old stuff on Jiji. Read on.
