Stunning cottage at Bretby Hall is on the market

It is in the grounds of the former home of fifth Earl of Carnarvon of Tutankhamun

A stunning Derbyshire character cottage in the grounds of the historic Bretby Hall is now on the market.

The original residence dates back to around 1640 and is up for sale for a price of £260,000.

It comes complete with two bedrooms and two bathrooms and is being sold by Newton Fallowell.

The estate agent said: "Newton Fallowell is pleased to be able to offer for sale this wonderful imposing characterful cottage residence located adjoining the historic Bretby Hall development, formerly the home of the fifth Earl of Carnarvon of Tutankhamun."

It also has many period features, including the front door to the property as well as a private garden.
