Stop calling me underground artiste – Amerado Burner cries out

by

Rapper Amerado started this rapping business in the early 90s yet remains anonymous or if you like have no significant hit song to his credit and we don’t know who to blame – his family or himself?

So, it was no surprise that AMG rapper Medikal not long ago dared Amerado not to try dissing him simply because he is an underground artiste or rapper.

But funny enough, Amerado in the studios of Hitz FM with Andy Dosty erroneously asserted that he is at the same level as Medikal and the other artistes tagged mainstream acts.

“We’re all mainstream artistes. Me, I see myself as a mainstream act because if I was up and coming in 2016/17, Andy, up till now if you still call me up and coming, my fans will be disappointed.

“What are the main reasons why we call somebody underground? Is it because the person doesn’t have a hit song?” he quizzed.

He noted that it is disrespectful to refer to artistes as underground and that using another adjective would suffice.

“I don’t ever want to be tagged an underground act because I see myself as big. I can be big and I am big so when you tag me as an underground, I feel like my talent is not at the same level as an underground.”

“All I need from these people is to see us as big. Even if you want to use a word to describe us, use young act. That’s respectful but underground, up and coming, until when can we come up?”
