Muaythai virtual competition underway

HERE'S good news to the country's top muaythai stars.

The Muaythai Association of the Philippines (MAP) is launching a series of virtual competitions to determine the country's representatives to the IFMA Virtual World Championships.

"Get a chance to be part of the muaythai virtual team and represent our country in the IFMA Virtual World Championships," said NAP secretary-general Pearl Managuelod in her Facebook post.

Managuelod announced the competition dates and deadlines for regional legs:

Visayas - May 26 to June 30. Deadline of entry: June 14.

Mindanao  - July 1-31. Deadline of entry: June 30.

Luzon -  August 1-31.Deadline of entry: July 30.

NCR - September 1-30. Deadline of Entry: August 30.

National  - October 1-31.

Registration is free.

Once endorsed, participants will receive a link to the folder where they can submit your unedited videos. They also have to make sure that their videos are uploaded properly. Only videos submitted in the folder will be honored.

Competition results will be announced on weekly Facebook posts.
