Notting Hill reeling after bodies identified as mother and son

Two people found dead at a home in Notting Hill in Melbourne's south-east were a mother and son.

The bodies of the two adults were found at a home on Wooral Court just before 11am on Thursday.

Sources have told The Age the pair were Ingrid House, 63, and her son Nicholas House, 34.

Police said on Friday they weren't looking for anyone else in relation to the deaths.

Detectives from the Monash Crime Investigation Unit are investigating, with assistance from the homicide squad.

Neighbours had earlier described the shock of seeing ambulances and police arrive in their quiet court, with officers remaining on seen late into the night.
