First Cargo Ship berths at Gwadar carrying Afghanistan-bound 16000 MT urea

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Cargo Ship SIBULK TRADITION has berthed at Gwadar port carrying 16000 tonnes of urea for Transit to Afghanistan, marking the beginning of a new era in Pakistan’s trade by sea, the Prime Minister’s Adviser for Commerce and Investment Abdul Razak Dawood said.

In a Tweet on Friday, the adviser said that for the first time, bagging will be done locally instead of foreign ports.

Abdul Razak Dawood said that urea will be bagged & shipped on trucks to Afghanistan at Gwadar which will generate employment for the locals.

The adviser said that instructions have already been passed to allocate all labour jobs to the local population.
