by Joseph Chapman, https://www.facebook.com/josephchapmanBM/West Brom have been credited with an interest in Fenerbahce striker Vedat Muriqi, a deal they’ll explore if they find themselves in the Premier League next term.
Kosovo international Muriqi, 26, only joined Turkish Super Lig outfit Fener last summer from Rizespor but he’s been a success in Istanbul; he’d fired 13 goals prior to the suspension of the campaign.
On the international stage, too, Muriqi has been a hit for minnows Kosovo; indeed he scored in the frantic 5-3 defeat to England at Southampton’s St Mary’s Stadium in the Euro 2020 qualifier back in September.

Now, Muriqi has been linked in the Turkish press with a move to The Hawthorns this summer, and it’s claimed by Fanatik that Albion are looking at freeing up room on the wage bill in order to accommodate Muriqi.
Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur are also said to be in the hunt, as they prepare for interest in Harry Kane.
The towering forward is valued in the region of £20m by Fenerbahce, who signed him on a four-year deal last summer.
Albion, who are sitting in second place in the Championship and await the resumption of the campaign so that they may force their promotion bid over the line, have tackled the season with Charlie Austin, Hal Robson-Kanu and, to a lesser extent, Kenneth Zohore as their primary attacking options.
Up top is expected to be an area that is prioritised by the club in the summer, however, irrespective of which division they find themselves in.
As already mentioned Spurs have been linked with a move for Muriqi, while French outfit Rennes are interested and are expected to invest heavily in their overperforming squad this summer.
After the Ligue 1 campaign was decided on a points per game average basis, Rennes were awarded third place and are planning a busy transfer window ahead of their crack at the Champions League.
