KCR's Chandi Yagam begins at Siddipet temple

As part of inauguration of one of the largest reservoirs Kondapochamma Sagar under Kaleshwaram Project, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is performing Chandi Yagam at the famous goddess Kondapochamma temple in Markook Mandal in Siddipet.
As part of inauguration of one of the largest reservoirs Kondapochamma Sagar under Kaleshwaram Project, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is performing Chandi Yagam at the famous goddess Kondapochamma temple in Markook Mandal in Siddipet.
After completing the yagam, the CM will go to a pump house of the reservoir and conduct Sudharshan Yagam and Gangamma puja. Later the CM will dedicate the 15 TMC capacity reservoir to the nation. Noted Pontiff Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swami and local leaders will also present.
The CM will also inaugurate Rythu Vedika at Erravelli and Markuk villages and will have lunch at the project site with specially invited guests.
Earlier, the Chief Minister had performed yagam between 2001 and 2014 to achieve statehood to Telangana and again in December. He also held Chandi yagam in 2019 after coming to power for the second time.
