China says wants ‘peaceful reunification’ with Taiwan

BEIJING- The head of China’s Taiwan affairs office said on Friday that “one country, two systems” and “peaceful reunification” are the best ways to bring China and Taiwan together.

Outside of attempts by foreign forces to intervene in “revaluation”, Liu Jieyi marked an event in the Great Hall of the People for 15 years, as China signed into its anti-op legislation.

Beijing passed legislation in 2005 that authorizes the use of force against Taiwan if China judges it.
