Bandi Sanjay writes to Sitharaman to relax loans interest for MSMEs

MSME businesses have been affected due to the pandemic which has led to forced lockdown across the nation as well as globally, the letter says

Hyderabad: Telagana BJP chief and Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Friday urged Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to consider relaxation of interest on loans for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) for a six month period, in addition to the six month moratorium on EMIs that has been announced already.

“Their businesses have been affected due to the pandemic which has led to forced lockdown across the nation as well as globally,” he said in a letter to the Union Minister. He said that under the prevailing conditions, it might take MSMEs some more time to recover and redeem their businesses.

He also congratulated her for the bold reforms she rolled out under “Atmanirbhar” package to give stimulus to the economy.
