Peddapalli: Experts committee assesses locust movement

The committee members, who arrived in Peddapalli on Friday, will stay in the district for four days, and will conduct an aerial survey along river Godavari from Adilabad to Badrachalam

Peddapalli: The five-member experts committee constituted by the State government to monitor the movement of locust swarms and examine steps to be taken to prevent their entry into the State held a meeting at the NTPC guest house on Friday.

Plant Protection Office of Central Integrated Pest Management Centre, R Suneetha, Scientist and Agriculture University Principal, Rehman, Chief Conservator of Forests, Wrangal, MJ Akbhar and Ramagundam Police Commissioner V Satyanarayana and Mancherial Collector Bharathi participated in the meeting.
