T.I. Responds To Trump Using His Song ‘Whatever You Like’ For Anti-Joe Biden Ad

by

Earlier this week, Donald Trump’s team dissed Joe Biden by repurposing rapper T.I’s 2008 single Whatever You Like as a jingle in a Snapchat video. The rapper is evidently not pleased with the move, as a representative for T.I claimed the use was “unauthorized,” per Complex.
The video showed pictures of Biden in a negative light, and encouraged people to stick with Trump in the upcoming elections. T.I’s song was misrepresented in the video with text insinuating an ad for Trump’s campaign.
For example, the actual lyric, “I want your body, need your body,” has been distorted to sound like, “I don’t want Joe Biden.”

In a statement to HotNewHipHop, T.I’s representative emphasized that the rapper does not endorse the advert and that his team will pursue legal action accordingly for the misuse.
“Be clear, he does not authorize it or consent to the use of his song to falsely suggest any endorsement of President Trump or to attack Joe Biden,” the statement read.
