Xiaomi RedmiBook 16: Retailers start selling AMD Ryzen 4000 Renoir series laptop from US$715.99; RedmiBook 13 and RedmiBook 14 available too
by Alex AldersonGearbest and Geekbuying have started selling the Xiaomi RedmiBook 16. Shipping from June 2, the RedmiBook 16 starts at US$715.99 and comes with an AMD Ryzen 5 4500U or Ryzen 7 4700U processor. The RedmiBook 13 and RedmiBook 14 are available, too.
The Xiaomi RedmiBook 16 is now available to order worldwide, albeit from Gearbest and Geekbuying. The retailer currently sells three models, all of which Xiaomi has equipped with 512 GB of SSD storage. Also on board is a 46 Wh battery that Xiaomi claims can last up to 12 hours of local video playback and 9 hours of web browsing.
Gearbest is currently offering the RedmiBook 16 in the following variants:

Gearbest will sell a Ryzen 7 4700U version of the RedmiBook 16 with 8 GB of RAM too. However, this is unavailable to purchase at the time of writing. Please keep in mind that these prices will only apply during the presale period. This period ends at 16:00 (UTC) on May 31.
Nonetheless, these prices are considerably higher than Xiaomi is selling the RedmiBook 16 for in China. By contrast, the three models listed above cost equivalent to ~US$531.56, ~US$559.54 and ~US$629.50 respectively.
With that said, Gearbest is cheaper than Geekbuying, which is also hosting a presale event. Geekbuying also sells the RedmiBook 13 and RedmiBook 14, though.
