Ponmagal Vandhal star Jyothika and Suriya Sivakumar, her husband and producer of the film spoke to popular journalist Rajeev Masand as part of the promotion of the film, which released on OTT giant Amazon Prime on May 29.
Besides talking about the film, the script and why it is so special to her, the couple even spoke about what they have been doing in the lockdown period, the series and movies they have been watching and various ways they are spending time with kids.
Jyothika said, “We have watched Money Heist, which is something many have talked about. Thappad is a fantastic movie. Also, I am a huge fan of Ayushmann Khurrana and I cannot miss watching the scripts he chooses to do. All of us together have watched a lot of films.”
Suriya has added that there are more than 16 people living in their house and around 6 to 7 kids. “There is a lot of work that they have to do. Also, they are spending time with us. Kids are missing the school. But the fact is that we have got a lot of time with them,” he said.
